Rachel Heimberger, 29, of South Daytona, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
In her honor, the viewing will begin at 4 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2010 at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home, followed by a followed by the 6 p.m. funeral service officiated by Fr. Phil Egitto.
Rachel was born in Trenton, Michigan, and graduated with honors from Atlantic High School of Port Orange in 1997. She attended Job Corp in Homestead, and recently attended Daytona State College. Rachel was a full spirited young women who made friends easily. She enjoyed board games, motorcycles, dancing, laying out in the sun, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her mother, Loren McGinley; step-father, George Hilbert; father, Dennis Heimberger; maternal grandmother, Suzanne Hale; two sisters, Shawn Heimberger (Keith) Fischer, and Michelle McGinley (Dante) Montanelli; two nephews, Phillip and Toby Fischer; two nieces, Shelby Fischer and Madison Montanelli; four aunts, Karen Hale, Sheryl Henderson, Meri Ann Vasher, and Tina Pyzik; uncle, Nathan Hale; eight cousins; and many many loving friends.
