Rachel Marie Fortino, 28, of Palm Coast, Florida and formerly of Marlton, New Jersey passed away Friday, October 10, 2025.  She was born on December 23, 1996 in Red Bank, New Jersey.  She attended Cherokee High School and was involved in Travel Softball with the Marlton Thunder Travel Softball team.  Rachel was a kind person with a heart of gold.  She had a soft place in her heart for all animals and enjoyed taking care of them.

Rachel is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Geane (Betz) Fortino.  She is survived by her loving father, Thomas A. Fortino; uncle, Anthony T. Fortino (wife, Joanne Fortino); uncle, Bruce Betz (wife, Janet Betz); dogs, Peanut and Hershey; Meows the Cat; and many cousins, extended family, and friends.

Services will be held privately at a later date in New Jersey.  In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made in Rachel's honor to the Halifax Humaine Society at Donate - Halifax Humane Society
