A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday September 1 2011 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Pat Gelow passed away on August 26 2011 at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center in Edgewater. She was born on October 27 1921 in Haverhill Massachusetts to Ernest and Bernadette Basiliere. She raised her children in Long Island NY where she was a district supervisor for White Castle Corporation. She moved to this area in 1974 where she was Co-Founder of A1A Roofing Company. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years George; two sons George Jr. (Debby) of South Daytona and James (Linda) of Port Orange; two sisters Rita Bellows and Doris Vosburg of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren Jimmy Shannon Shawna Mary George Jenna and Adam; three great-grandchildren Daniel Jaiden and Jax.
She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth in 1983.
