Pierrette LoGrasso Gardinal, 94, of Palm Coast and Melbourne, Florida passed away on September 25, 2024 with her family by her side.  She was born on August 1, 1930 to the late Girolama Ciolino and Vincenzo Lo Grasso of Terrasini, Sicily.  She moved to Tunisia when she was 3 years old, attended middle school in Algeria and attended Stephen Pichon High School in Bizerte, Tunisia.   She received Master of Arts in French and English at Wayne State University in Michigan.

She immigrated to the United States in 1950 and married Guillaume in Detroit, Michigan in 1952.  They lived in East Detroit, Michigan until they moved to Merritt Island, Florida in 1972.  Pierrette taught in Detroit and then Brevard County until her retirement in 1992.  Pierrette was a member of Ascension Catholic Church.  She devoted her life to her family and career.  She was an excellent cook creating diverse mouthwatering meals for family and friends.  She volunteered for Candlelighters,  loved the beach, swimming in her pool and enjoyed playing Bingo, cards and Rummikub.

Pierrette is survived by daughters Marie-Christine Milnes (Christopher) and Annette Gardinal; granddaughters Noelle Easterling (MJ), Leah Leggett (Matthew), Shara Ermlich (Ryan) and Melissa Gardinal; great-grandchildren Nolan, Elise, Regan, Grant, Carter and Chloe; she was preceded in death by her husband, Guillaume and son, Paul.

Funeral services will be 11am on Thursday, November 14th at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, Florida.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in the name of Candlelighters of Brevard, 436 5th Ave #1, Indialantic, FL 32903. https://candlelightersofbrevard.org/
