Phyllis Peckham left this earth on early Sunday morning of August 15 2010. Memorial Services will be held Friday August 20th @ 11:00 am at Lohman Funeral Home 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach. The family will welcome all longtime friends of Phyllis' from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am on Friday. Following the memorial service a reception celebrating Mrs. Peckham's life will be held at the Lohman Funeral Home in Daytona Beach.
Born in Cumberland Rhode Island on November 3 1930. She lived in Rhode Island her entire life before moving to Ormond Beach Florida in 1958. A graduate of Cumberland High School. She later attended Pawtucket Memorial Nursing School where she earned her B.S. in Nursing. Phyllis' heart and love of her memories with her family and late husband Bill will always remain in Ormond Beach. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. Her greatest love was her family: her children grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her faith centered around Our Lady of Lord's Catholic Church and St. James Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her Son: Charles and his wife Val. Daughter: Joy and her husband Glen. Sister: Pearl. Four wonderful grandchildren: Hunter Ethan Heather and David. Five great grandchildren: Gabrielle Breanna Josh David and Zachary. Let all of her dearest friends over the last 51 years in Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach remember how much she cared for all of you. You will always be in her heart.
