Phyllis Jane Barnhart's Obituary
Phyllis Jane Barnhart 82 of Port Orange peacefully passed away February 26 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband "Barney" Barnhart and her son Donald Stroh. Surviving are her daughter Peggy Belanger 2 sons: Jim Stroh and Douglas (Lex Anne) Stroh 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her stepchildren Joan Woll and Dennis Barnhart.
Phyllis was a teacher's assistant for Special Education. She was a Special Olympic Coach 13 years and for the World Champion Special Olympic Soccer Team in 1987. Phyllis volunteered for the American Red Cross for 20 years.
Arrangements are under the careful direction of Cardwell Funeral Home.
