Philomena Anderson Herrin , 99, of Daytona Beach, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021, at Halifax Health Hospice in Port Orange, FL.

She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on March 26, 1922, the oldest daughter of Eric A. and Philomena Anderson.

She married her husband Clarence Patterson Herrin on July 2, 1946, and together they raised 6 children. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, and three children – Patricia L., Phillip R., and Kenneth T. She will be lovingly missed by her sister, Evelyn (Chitty) Port Orange, FL, and her children, Kathleen (Davidson), Daytona Beach, Susan, Palm Coast, Kevin, Daytona Beach, and Lynne, Charlotte, NC, along with 8 grandchildren: Page (Todd), Christopher, Michelle (Jay), Joshua (Kendra), Jason, and 7 great-grandchildren, Logan, Brendan, Kayleigh, Jocelyn, McKenna, Brendan, and Audrey. She will also be greatly missed by multiple nieces and nephews, and several family friends.

Phil worked multiple jobs throughout her life, in jewelry and automotive factories, as well as the front desk at Fairlanes Bowling Center in Springfield, VA and retired from Florida Production, Daytona Beach, FL. She coached junior league bowling for many years and led an active and fun-filled lifestyle. She loved to travel for bowling tournaments throughout the U.S. Phil loved gatherings with extended family and friends, bowling, bingo, and gardening, and had a special fondness for desserts and sweet treats. She was known for always taking photos – from years ago with the flood lights in one hand and camera in the other, to 8 mm movie reels, to recent years with her cellphone.

A grave side service will be held in Culpeper, VA, where she will be buried with her husband and daughter.
