Phillip Gerald Zukas 48 of Kissimmee unexpectedly passed away on or about April 25 2012. Phil was the youngest of five children born to Michael Gene Zukas (father) and Rosemarie Griswold Zukas (mother) on December 16th 1963 in Stuttgart Germany. His surviving siblings are his older brother Michael Alan Zukas (Gainesville) and his older sister Marianne Hyder (Jacksonville).

Phil served briefly in the U.S. Air Force upon graduating high school and was passionate about many things - mostly his nieces his dearly loved pet Bandit and bowling; he once bowled a perfect 300 game! He rooted for the Orlando Magic and the University of Miami's Hurricanes and especially enjoyed listening to the music of Pink Floyd cooking playing Uno with his nieces trivia games bocce ball and other competitive games and sports with his friends and family - especially if he could beat his brother! Phil loved to take things apart and then put them back together; for the last nine years he owned and operated a technical furniture installation business in affiliation with his brother.

Phil will sadly be missed by his parents Rosemarie and Michael his brother Mike and sister in law Lonnie his sister Marianne and his four adored nieces whom he often would sing to- just to make them laugh Autumn and Ashleigh Hyder (Jacksonville) and Lauren and Bryanna Zukas (Gainesville). He is also survived by his Uncles Harry (Marion) Griswold of New Smyrna Carter (Barbara) Griswold of Edgewater and his Aunt Eleanor Baldwin of New York and many cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers David Brian Zukas and Michael Gene Zukas Jr.

Phil's life will be celebrated with a Memorial Mass on Tuesday May 1st at 11:00 am at the Church of the Epiphany 201 Lafayette Drive Port Orange Florida; funeral arrangements by Cardwell Funeral Home.
