Phillip Joseph Mitchell, 68, of Daytona Beach Shores went to see Jesus, Wednesday March 18, 2020. He was born September 1, 1951 in East Chicago, Indiana, the son of the late Donald S and Isabel (Piekarski) Mitchell.

Phillip was a very accomplished system's engineer with United Airlines and Sears and Roebuck. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Port Orange.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle C. Mitchell, his two brothers, Donald J. and James S. Mitchell and by his nephew, Donald P. Mitchell and his niece, Cynthia Guthrie (Ben).

There will be a family gathering 4:00-6:00 PM Friday March 20, 2020 at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 9:30 AM Saturday March 21, 2020 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Port Orange.
