Obituary

Mr. Phillip Kasper, 88, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, in Palm Coast, Florida.

Born on October 7, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, Phillip was the son of Charles Kasper and Blanche Kasper (née Corin). He grew up in the vibrant heart of Chicago and later pursued higher education at Rutgers University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Phillip proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1963. Holding the rank of Corporal, he specialized as an Aircraft Communication/Navigation Systems Technician—a role that reflected both his technical skill and dedication to service.

Following his military service and academic achievements, Phillip built a life grounded in commitment to family and community. He shared 64 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Beverly Kasper. Together they raised a close-knit family that includes their children: Phillip A. Kasper and his wife Karen A. Kasper (née Kuber); Dawn M. Clark (née Kasper) and her husband Thomas Clark; Douglas D. Kasper and his wife Tracy Kasper (née Scholl).

Phillip took great pride in his grandchildren: Shawn Kasper; Audrey Waller (Clark); Emily Clark; Olivia Clark; AJ Kasper; and Payton Kasper. His legacy continues through them and the values he instilled across generations.

He is also remembered by his sister Wilma Rubenstein (née Kasper), who shared in the memories of their early years together. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Blanche, as well as his sister Lillian.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lighthouse Bible Church in Palm Coast, Florida at a later date, to be announced.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who carry forward his legacy of service and devotion.
