Peter G. Roof 74 a New York City Mounted Unit Policeman for 20 years died Thursday May 12th.
Mr. Roof who served in the National Guard for 10 years was born in New york City and moved here in 1993 from South Florida. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton catholic church the Italian American and New York Social Clubs and the Audubon Society. He also was a former assistant head of security for the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood FL. and was an evidence custodian for the Broward County Courthouse.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Ginny; a son Peter; a daughter Linda Drago; and a sister Catherine Kuhn.
