Peter A. Pericola 61 Camelot Ct. Port Orange passed away Tuesday Oct. 3 at his home. Born in Boston he moved to this area in 1984 from Hanover Mass. Pete retired 5 years ago as the parish administrator and youth minister at Epiphany Catholic Church a position he had held for 15 years. He was the president of the Intracoastal Democratic Club of Port Orange and a member of the Volusia Democratic Executive Committee DEC. Pete enjoyed photography politics spending time with his family and his 2 dogs Willie and Jack. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Kathy; their two sons Christopher Miami Jamie and his wife Mathilde Washington D.C. their daughter Colleen Hearn and her husband Chip Port Orange. Also surviving are two sisters Marie Dineen Hanover Mass. and Phyllis Vincent Whitman Mass.; two grandsons; Christopher Pericola Dylan Hearn; and two granddaughters Katie and Emily Hearn. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass Saturday Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church 201 Lafayette St. Port Orange.
