Peter M. Baldino age 88 passed away on Sunday October 7 2012. He was a resident of Palm Coast for the last 20 years where he retired after the passing of his loving wife Michelina (Micki) in Vienna VA where they lived with their three children. He was born in Morristown NJ and proudly served in the US Army during WWII and participated in the Battle of Okinawa. Peter graduated from Seton Hall University and was one of five civilians selected Army-wide to attend the Army Comptrollership School at Syracuse University for advanced study where he received his MBA. He was "Officially Commended" several times and received the "Commanders Award for Civilian Service" from the Department of Army where he had an impressive professional career for over 30 years holding leadership positions as Deputy Comptroller at Picatinny Arsenal Dover NJ and aspiring to and retiring as the "Chief of Finance and Accounting" for the Army Corp of Engineers headquartered in Washington DC. He especially enjoyed playing golf with his foursome at Pine Lakes Country Club and traveling internationally in his retirement years. He is survived by his sister G. Mary Quadagnini and her husband Marcel of Blairstown NJ their son Glenn of Laguna Beach CA; daughter Ann Marie Baldino of Springfield VA; two son's: Peter John Baldino of Seal Beach CA; Edward Baldino and his wife Lan of Palm Coast Florida
