Mrs. Persefoni Antonopoulos (Zaponti), wife of the late Cristus Antonopoulos, 91 of Ponce Inlet, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Friday, December 27, 2019 in Pennsylvania. She was born December 14, 1928 in Skala, Greece, the youngest of seven children. Persefoni is survived by her son, William C. Antonopoulos and his wife, Deborah of South Daytona, FL, by her daughter, Filomela Marshall and her husband, Joseph of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania by her loving grandchildren, Annie Marshall and her husband Jeremy Zarou of Devon, Pennsylvania, Christopher Anotonopoulos of Washington DC, Alexis Antonopoulos Miner and her husband James of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and great-grandchildren, Hudson and Lorelei. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Cristus Antonopoulos in September of 2014, as well as by her six brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Friday, January 3 ^rd at 9:30 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church; 129 N. Halifax Ave. Daytona Beach, FL – The family will receive friends beginning 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.
