Adner M. Perry Jr. age 82 formerly of Melbourne Beach more recently of Daytona Beach and resided in Edgewater with his daughter went home to be with our Lord on Monday July 21 2008. A visitation will be held Thursday July 24 2008 from 5:00 PM until the service time of 7:00 PM at Baggett & Summers funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach FL. A short service will be held Friday 07/25/08 10:00 AM gathering at the funeral home and taking - leave at 10:30 AM to Daytona Memorial Park for interment and Military Honors. Mr. Perry was born in Knoxville TN and was a proud WWII veteran of the US Army. He dedicated much of his professional career to RCA Kirby Vacuum Cleaners Mission Control at Cape Canaveral and as Vice Mayor for the City of Melbourne Beach(1967). He was a proud member of the Calvary Baptist Church Daytona Beach F&A Masons Melbourne Holly Hill Baptist Church and the Mackin Motors TR3 racing team. He traveled in many circles and to various places to discover all the world has to offer. Adner enjoyed NASCAR racing vacationing annually with his daughter playing Canasta with his family and spending time with his canine companion Sebastian. Mr. Perry leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Judi (John) Feldman Larry (Cindy Harper) Perry Sandra (Pete) Gates children by marriage; James (Elka) Tuite and Cheryl Patterson. 9 grandchildren; Lovelle Augustine Stacy Mason Andy Feldman Eric Perry Israel Monday Shannon Gintz James Tuite IV Pamela and David 10 great grandchildren; Baylee Jordan Lane William Lauren Jennifer Payten Connor Cheyenne Taylor and a niece; Glenda McMurry.
