A Celebration of Life Service for Penelope Castle will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday November 22 2011 in Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday November 22 2011 from 10 - 11am prior to the service.

Penelope Thomas Castle was born in Daytona Beach Florida on February 23 1954.
The daughter of Peter and Alice Thomas she attended Our Lady of Lourdes
Elementary School and Father Lopez High School.

A lover of animals and the outdoors Penelope rode competitively for many years at the
Silver Sands rodeo with her horse Sandy. In later years she worked with horses at
Hobeau Farm in Ocala. She went on to do work in landscaping and horticulture for the
City of Ormond Beach.

For many years she and her husband John enjoyed visiting Great Abaco in the
Bahamas for the Christmas holidays.

Her heart and soul were filled with warmth.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years John Castle; her brothers Peter Pat
Michael David and Nick; and her sisters Pam and Hope.
