Pearl Wiesner 92 of Port Orange died February 22 2009. She was born on June 23 1916 to Roth Castle and Bertha Sterling and was one of 11 children. Pearl and her late husband Edward to whom she was married 71 years owned and operated their own restaurant and raised one son. In 1979 she and her husband moved from Silver Spring Maryland to Florida. She was an active member of the Volusia County Strokers Club and was awarded "Stroker of the Year" for her hard work and miraculous recovery. She will be remembered most for her humor fortitude dedication to her family and her zest for life. Pearl is survived by her son Mark and wife Jane Wiesner of Woodbury Pennsylvania; sisters Florence Hartle of Williamsport Maryland Wuanita Lusby of Baltimore Maryland; grandchildren Joelle Harting and Tasha Mabrouka and great granddaughter Khalila Mabrouka.
