It is with great sadness that the family of Pauline Conforti announces her passing after a long illness, on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the age of 87 years, in Port Orange, Florida. Born in Astoria, Queens, New York, on March 29, 1931, Pauline was the daughter of the late Paul Pekar and Germaine Dellysse Pekar Robesch. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Frank Conforti. Together they owned and operated Frankie's Italian Restaurant in Huntington Station, New York for over 32 years.

Pauline will be greatly missed by children, Susan (John) Ade, Cristine Conforti, James (Donna) Conforti, Douglas (Connie) Conforti and Frank (Jennifer) Conforti. She will also be fondly remembered by ten grandchildren, Cliff (Kelly) Abeles, Melissa (Sid) Holland, Gregory Conforti, Natalie Conforti, Haley Conforti, Hunter Conforti, Jesse Conforti,  Dayna (Shaun) Griffin, William Conforti and Lacie Conforti, as well as nine great-grandchildren, Priscilla (Kyle) Morris, Kate Holland, Brynn Holland, Paxton Abeles, Morgan Abeles, Blake Griffin, Landon Griffin, Dominic Winsted and Charlise Haggerson. Pauline had two brothers, Paul Pekar and Octave Pekar, both deceased, and leaves behind devoted sister Georgina Sandora, wife of Leonard Sandora. Pauline was a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews, including Denise (Dan) Balas.

Pauline was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange and a former member of St. Hugh of Lincoln Catholic Church in Huntington Station, New York. In memory of Pauline, her life will be celebrated with a Catholic Memorial Service on Friday, October 19th at 12:00 p.m. including a gathering of family and friends from 11:00 am until time of Service at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange Florida, 32127 (386-761-1100). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline Conforti's name to Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Florida 32127.
