With heavy hearts and loving memories, we celebrate the life of Paula Elizabeth Capell, who departed this life on June 11, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of Hattie M. Capell-Wallace and Roosevelt Sims, born on March 28, 1963, in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Paula was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose love, strength, and warmth touched many lives. She cherished her family deeply and leaves behind a lasting legacy of love. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Torre Capell, Tonita & Barry Brown Sr., Shawn Capell, and James Moore.

Her grandchildren include: Ashaunti Brown, Barry Brown Jr., James Taylor Jr., Kyla Capell, Taishan Capell, Jalaeshia Moore, Makya Taylor, Brionna Taylor, Arionna Taylor, Jziyon Moore, Alexander Brown, James Moore Jr., Issac Brown, Cashmir Moore, Jaiya Moore, and Jace Moore.

She is also survived by her loving siblings: Willie Capell and Stephanie Monteleon, Alice and William Butler, and Lynn-Catherine and Jeffrey Scott, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Though her earthly journey has ended, her love, memories, and legacy live on in all who knew her.
