Paul A. Torres 78 of Daytona Beach died July 13th 2009. He was born on July 9 1931 in Ponce Puerto Rico. As a teenager his family moved to Washington DC where he attended High School. He proudly served our Country in the US Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran. In his late 50's he moved to Bronx NY and in his early 60's he settled in Daytona Beach. Paul loved to relax at home and could most often be found in front of the TV watching baseball (his favorite team was the Atlanta Braves). He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and computer games. His family and friends will remember him most as a unique individual with a quirky sense of humor who was never afraid to speak his mind. He will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on Friday July 17th at 11:00am at Central Baptist Church 142 Fairview Avenue Daytona Beach where he was a member. A reception will follow at Adams Hall immediately following the service. Paul is survived by his seven children seven Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his oldest son Pablo and wife Wendy to whom he was married 26 years.
