Paul A. Thomson 71 of Palm Coast Fl peacefully passed away June 29 2011. Services will be held at a later date. Paul was born in Galt Ontario Canada and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Windsor Windsor Ontario Canada. Prior to moving to Palm Coast one year ago Paul and his loving wife Sue lived in Elmhurst IL. Paul was the founder of Thomson Land Surveying located in Rosemont Illinois and owned the company until the late 1990's. He loved sailing his sailboat "Kyoga" and also chartering sailboats in the islands of the Caribbean. He was a frequent international traveler avid race car fan and reader loved movies and enjoyed his time with his family the most. Paul had a great sense of humor and will be sorely missed by all that he touched over the years. Paul was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Thomson and grandson Matthew Underwood. He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years Susan Thomson of Palm Coast FL. his daughters Heather and her husband Wayne Underwood and Melissa and her husband Rick Marrandino all of Fruitvale British Columbia a son David and his wife Sarah Jane of Squamish British Columbia and his sister Sue and her husband Don Mavinic of Vancouver British Columbia. Paul was also the loving grandfather of Breeanne Garrett Paige Charlie Malcolm Angus and Claire. Donations may be made to the Halifax Medical Center Foundation in Daytona Beach FL.
