Paul Pomponio 90 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on March 10 2012 at Halifax Hospital Daytona Beach FL. Visitation will be held Thursday March 22 2012 from 4-6 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday March 23 2012 at 10:00 am at the St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church interment to immediately follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery. Paul was born and raised in the Bronx NY. He attended Cook and Bakers College in Anita California. Paul worked many years as a security guard for Madison Square Garden. Paul served in the United States Army earning the rank of Corporal. He earned the Normandy battle Star ribbon and Good Conduct metal. Paul moved to Palm Coast 20 years ago. He enjoyed his quiet times reading the newspaper. Paul is survived by his wife of 65 years Rosemarie daughters Sandy Cavaliere (Peter) of FL Joanne Deitch(Warren) of NY. He was also the loving grandfather of 4 grandchildren Craig Lisa Danielle and Michele and 3 great grandchildren Isabella Samuel and Nico.
