Memorial service for Rev. Paul B. Miller 92 who went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 7 2010 will be at Grace Episcopal Church in Port Orange on Monday February 15th at 4:30 p.m. Father Miller was born in Watertown New York on December 9 1917. He received his BA degree from Hobart College and his Bachelor and Master of Divinity degrees from Virginia Theological Seminary. He served as an officer in the army in World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star for distinguished service. Father Miller also served as chaplain in the National Guard for eight years. Father Miller was ordained to the priesthood in January 1950. His 40 year ministry served many churches in Upstate New York and the Daytona Beach area. A loving brother husband father grandfather and great grandfather Father Miller was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Marilyn his son Christopher and sister Dorothy. He is survived by two daughters Melissa Miller (Keith) and Melanie (Rick) Hallauer; daughter-in-law JoAnn Miller; four grandchildren Justin Palumbo Aaron (Lauren) Goldstone Ashley (Billy) Grimes Joshua Miller; two great grandchildren Alyssa and Brianna Grimes; and many friends and extended family.
