Paul J. Marianetti , our beloved husband and father passed away on May 6, 2018 at the age of 70 after a long battle with cancer.  He was surrounded by his loved ones.   Paul was born on September 1, 1947, grew up in Providence, RI and moved to Florida in 1999.   In November 1994, Paul retired from the Providence Fire Department where he served as Battalion Chief.

Paul served in the 107 ^th Signal Company division of the Army during the Vietnam War, and fought for this country he loved so much. He graduated from Providence College where he received his Bachelors of Science degree.  Paul was an active member of the Moose Lodge, Elks and Sons of Italy.  He was an avid Yankee and Patriot fan and looked forward to watching the games with his Family.

Paul's heart and home was open to all who met him.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Paulette (Sears) Marianetti; his children, Jeffrey Marianetti, Kristen (Marianetti) Robbins and Craig Robbins, his grandchildren whom he adored,  Craig Jr., Caden and Kennadi Robbins as well as, countless family members, friends and pets.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 West Granada Boulevard, in Ormond Beach.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, located in Ormond-by-the-Sea, Florida.

An additional visitation will be Friday, May 25 from 4-7 pm at Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, Providence, RI.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Edwards's Catholic Church, Providence, RI.
