Paul W. LaVere, 91, of Port Orange went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 16, 2015. Paul was born in Worth, New York on June 1, 1923 to Albert and Anna LaVere. Paul married the love of his life, Ruth Munson in 1947 and they had three daughters. In 1961 they moved to Florida. Paul worked for many years in horticulture and dairy farming before retiring. He enjoyed playing cards, woodworking and enjoying nature while spending many hours walking and riding bicycles. Most of all he enjoyed being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his his three daughters Melody (Randy) Harper, Karen (Paul) Riley, Teresa (Mark) Williams, grandchildren Michelle, Kristy, Shanda, Kaytee, and great grandchildren Emilee, Madison, Ethan, Morgan, and Madelyn, sister Doris Filhart, and many extended family members and a multitude of friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th, 2015 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona between the hours of 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21st, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Lohman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.
