JOHNSON, Paul Adrian

Paul Adrian Johnson, 90, of Daytona Beach, passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2017 in Port Orange. He was born on December 5, 1926 to the late Edward and Gospie Johnson in St. Augustine, Florida.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday March 18, 2017 at New Life Church, 5231 S. Nova Rd., Port Orange with his son, Pastor Ron Johnson, officiating. Burial will be held at 3:30pm on Sat. March 18, 2017 in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Ave., Daytona Beach.
He graduated from Emmanuel College, Franklin Springs, GA. He attended the University of Georgia in Athens, GA and went on to graduate from Florida State University in Tallahassee with a Bachelors degree. In 1954 he moved to the Daytona Beach area from his birthplace. He was a member of One Church in Longwood, FL. He retired as a Building Contractor and Developer.
Paul enjoyed traveling, construction, ministry, mission trips, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Catherine Lutrell Johnson; three sons, Ron (Sandy) Johnson of Sorrento, FL, Larry (Lisa) of Daytona Beach and Murray (Jan) Johnson of Daytona Beach; brothers, David, (and the late Jean) Johnson of St. Augustine and Walter (Jimmie) Johnson; sister-in-law, Ruth Johnson (late, E. Nathan Johnson); brother-in-law, William Moore, Jr. (late, Mildred Johnson Moore); nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
