Mr. Paul Richard Gannett, 81, of Port Orange, FL passed away on December 11, 2023. He was born on August 9, 1942, in Washington, D.C. to parents Samuel and Mary (nee Piccioni) Gannett. U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Gannett served during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. He worked logistics in the computer technology industry for Sperry Corporation for most of his career. Once he moved to Florida he worked as Property Inventory Manager for the F.A.A. Management School in Palm Coast, FL. In his retirement he enjoyed film, cooking, and singing in his church choir. He is predeceased by elder brother, Albert Gannett, and his wife, Cheryl A. Gannett. He is survived by their son, Christopher Paul Gannett, elder sister, Diana Gannett, and younger brother, James Gannett…as well as many loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
