Paul Albert, 69, passed away at home peacefully, after a brief illness, on December 31
st
, 2017 with grace and dignity surrounded by his loving family. Paul was the loving husband of Sandra Therrien – Albert, and devoted father of sons Nicholas and Adam who were the pride of his life. He is also survived by the parents who inspired his deep faith in God - Victor and Lena Albert of Leominster, MA, and his 10 siblings. He also leaves 4 of his wife's siblings.
Paul was a communicant at St. Brendan's Catholic Church, in Ormond Beach, Florida. He was an active member of his congregation as a Eucharistic minister, bringing communion to the sick, visiting the imprisoned, and was also a member of the choir. Paul was generous beyond words with both his material possessions and time.
Paul's drive for the last 34 years of his life was a steadfast commitment to helping others find their way to the miracle of recovery from alcoholism and addiction. The far-reaching impact that Paul had to recovery and passing it on to others has touched and changed countless lives.
Paul will be greatly missed by the multitude people who knew and loved him and our grief will be surpassed only by the absolute certainty that he rests in final peace with his Lord and Savior.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11am at St. Brendan The Navigator Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL. Calling hours will be held at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach FL 32174 on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5pm until 8pm.
A Funeral Service will be held in the spring at Brandon Funeral Home, Fitchburg MA, with a burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA, at a time and date to be announced.
