Patrick J. Fitzgerald, "PopPop", passed away peacefully on June 3, 2017 at Halifax Hospice Center, with his family at his side. Pat was predeceased by his wife, Joan and son Patrick. Patrick was born in the Bronx to the late Edmond and Ellen Fitzgerald on May 27, 1933. He was a resident of Daytona Beach, Florida for 34 years and formally of Middletown NY. He was retired New York City Police Officer and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his son Robert Fitzgerald, William (Maryann) Fitzgerald, daughters Deborah Kagle and Tabby Fitzgerald, his brothers, Tom (Ann), Ed (Ann) sisters MaryAnn Buscemi and Joan Milmore (Ed) and his loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A viewing for the family and friends will be on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, in Port Orange.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 8:30 AM from Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange
