Patricia C. Sumner age 80 of Wilbur by the Sea passed away on Saturday October 29 2011. A ""Celebration of Life"" will be held at 11am on Friday November 25 2011 at Grace Episcopal Church 4110 South Ridgewood Ave Port Orange Florida. Patricia was born on September 22 1931 in Morristown New Jersey and moved to Florida with her family in 1960. She was the Secretary to the director's of the Volusia County Health Department Dr's Hubert U. King when it was on Beach Street and Dr. William Cox after it moved to Clyde Morris. After leaving the Health Department she was the church secretary at Holy Trinity by the Sea until it was torn down to build the Ocean Center. Patricia then worked for Grace Episcopal Church in Port Orange. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles crosswords and any word puzzles reading and watching all sports on T.V. Patricia was preceded in death by her son Michael. She is survived by her mother Marion Craig (Marmee); daughters Elaine (Stan) Davis of Jacksonville Sandy (Jeff) Parry of Wilbur by the Sea; grandchildren Mallory Blas Fallin Davis; and great-grandchildren Hailey and Calvin Blas.
