Patricia Ann "Pat" Murray, 80, of Port Orange, FL passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Pat was born Sept. 3, 1937 in Worcester, Massachusetts to William and Mary (Barouch) Pajala. She graduated Millbury High School in 1955. She was a retired Office Specialist with Reed Plastics, a plastic manufacturing company in Holden, MA. She was a member of the Board of Christian Education at the First Congregational Church-Holden, MA., PTA Secretary-Jefferson, MA School, 4-H Leader in Sewing and Cooking, Cub Scout Den Mother. Pat also was an avid golfer and achieved 3 holes-in-one during her golf career, candlepin bowling, cooking, Mah Jongg and volunteering for those less fortunate. But most of all she loved family reunions, vacations and holidays. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, May 31 st at 11:30 am at the Riviera Country Club, Ormond Beach. Pat always says to "Remember the Fun Times"! Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Neil E. Murray of Port Orange, her daughter, Lynn Chevalier and her fiance Michael Coffey of Holden, MA. Her Grandchildren: April (Chevalier) Rodrigues and her husband Tiago, Benjamin Chevalier, Lindsay Rocheleau and her Great-Granddaughter Layla Rose Perry. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, brother-in-laws, nieces and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her son Michael W. Murray, her daughter Sheila A.(Rocheleau) McLaughlin and her sister Carol O'Loughlin. A special thank you to the staff at Kindred Hospice for the loving care provided to Pat. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patricia's memory to The American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the care of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
