Patricia Ellen Padgette, 89, of DeLand, FL passed away on May 4, 2023. She was born on July 11, 1933 in Fairmont, Minnesota to John and Esther Blowers. Mrs. Padgette was preceded in death by her husband, Lawton Gene Padgette, who she will be laid to rest with at Daytona Memorial Park. Pat grew up on a farm in Minnesota with her 13 siblings. Once she met Gene, she moved to Florida to be with him, and it was all history. They had a son, David, who was the light of their life. They opened up a beauty shop/barbershop and cut hair together for over 50 years. You could find Pat's name under the definition of "feisty" in the dictionary but she never met a stranger or someone she couldn't talk to. She would square dance every chance she got, the beach was her happy place and she would never turn down a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

She is survived by her son; David Padgette (Terri), two granddaughters; Kelli Caroway (Aaron) Ashlee Dickens (Brianna). Two great grandchildren; Raelyn and Cole. One sister; Rose Duncan. Services will be held at Lohman Funeral Home in Daytona at 12:00 PM Friday, May 12th with burial to follow.
