Daytona Beach native Patricia Renee Markland (nee Crowley), age 63, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 26, 2015 after a long battle with chronic illness.

She was a loving mother and devoted friend with an iron will, an ability to love people for their strengths and imperfections, and an appreciation for a bit of mischief. She enjoyed the beach, the sun, and spending time with close friends and family.

She is survived by her son, Dustin (wife Kelley); daughter, Tatia (husband Keith); sister, Sharon (husband Frank); and three grandchildren, Miles, Ewan, and Mia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Halifax Health-Hospice Port Orange Care Center at www.hovf.org/donate.
