Patricia Long age 69 of Deland passed away on Friday October 1 2010. A memorial service in her honor will be held 5:00 PM on Friday October 8 2010 at the Deland Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. Patricia was born in Ontario Canada to Camiel and Margaret DeSloovere she dedicated her life's work as a correction officer for the Volusia County Branch Jail. She enjoyed going to the casino knitting cooking traveling and fishing with her husband. Patricia was an intelegent "sassy" proud woman of strong convictions.
Her husband of 46 years Huey Long preceded her in death. She leaves behind to cherish her memory 2 sons: Patrick Worley of Orlando and Mr.&Mrs. Camiel and Jodie Long of Deland also 3 grandchildren: Kaitlin Parker CJ and Cameron Long. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Deland.
