Patricia O'Connor Hannan passed away July 7, 2021 with her beloved husband, John Hannan, by her side at Hospice of Edgewater.
Pat was born in Providence, Rhode Island. She earned her Master's Degree inPsychology at Fordham University in New York. Since the time of her move toDaytona, she was employed by Volusia County Schools as a school psychologist. Shespent her career there servicing students of all ages.
She was a member and parishioner of Epiphany Catholic Church. After her retirement, she and her husband enjoyed taking trips abroad as well as in North America. Her favorite mode of travel through Europe was on the riverboat cruises. She especially enjoyed Australia and New Zealand and met many friends along the way. Pat enjoyed aerobics at the Y.M.C.A. for many years. Pat and John enjoyed dancing,
music, plays, and fine dining. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Maria deLourdes O'Connor, her brothers, Robert and Edward, and sister, Theresa. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, John Hannan, her loving stepchildren, Tim Hannan, New
Hampshire, John Hannan, Virginia, Michael Hannan, Virginia, and Susan Green, Florida, and grandchildren, Elyssa Hannan, Christopher Hannan, Tyler Green, Morgan Green Spears, and Erika Green, and several nieces and nephews living in
Providence, Rhode Island. She was loved and appreciated by everyone and will be sorely missed. A Memorial Service in her honor will be at the Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida, on Friday, July 16th with visitation from 11
AM to 1 PM and service at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Pat's name to Hospice of
