Doria Patricia M. age 61 passed away October 21 at Halifax Medical Center Daytona Beach while surrounded by her loving family and friends. Patricia will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 4 pm.. at Lohman Funeral Home 1201 Dunlawton Port Orange Tuesday October 26 2010. Patricia was a lover of life and all that it offered. She received her Bachelor Degree from Granite State College after which she continued her education at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire for her Master's Degree in Education. She was an educator by degree a devoted wife a proud mother and a loyal friend. Her greatest victory was raising her two beautiful daughters. She loved her family her dogs and cooking. For pastime she showed horses played golf enjoyed camping with her husband John and in the last few years showed Pomeranian dogs. She was the proud owner of Breaker her Champion Pomeranian dog. She was always caring for others before herself. She had an infectious smile that everyone admired the moment that she entered the room. Patricia fought a courageous battle with cancer that she fought until the very end. Those who are left to cherish her memory are her husband of 10 years John Doria; two daughters Katie Rangnow (husband: Douglas) Brittany Slavin (fianc: James Horrigan); one sister Susan E. Welsh; and father Mr. Ralph F. Hodgdon. She is preceded in death by her mother Betty Hodgdon.
