Patricia Lydia Dick, 82, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Florida Hospital, Daytona Beach.
A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Saturday, February 18th at 11:00 am at Christ Presbyterian Church, 1035 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach.
Patricia was born March 16, 1934 at Halifax Hospital, Daytona Beach to John E. and Lorretta (Lenhardt) Boyle. She was a graduate of Mainland HS, the "Old Mainland in downtown" and went on to obtain her Associates degree from Daytona Beach CC.
She was a bookkeeper at the family's Amoco service station, an interior designer, which led to the opening of "A Design Place", and most importantly, a Mom. She and her husband have been members at Christ Presbyterian Church since 1983, where she served on several boards, she was an elder and played JuBellation, the church's Hand Bell Choir. She and Bob also enjoyed traveling around the world, which included a 30 day canoe camping trip with the youth from Christ Presbyterian.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert "Bob" Dick, Ormond Beach, her daughter, Kathleen "KD" (Kirk) Dick Payne of Redmond, Oregon, two sons, Charles Dick of Ormond Beach and David (Lee Holland) Dick of Hayesville, North Carolina, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Barbara Doerr, and her brother, John E. Boyle.
