IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia
Cash
October 13, 1938 – March 6, 2024
Patricia Gebhart Cash passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 6
th, 2024. Pat was born
on October 13, 1938, in the Bronx, New York, to Henry and Mary Gebhart. At the tender age of
19, while on Spring Break in Daytona Beach, Patsy met the man who was to become her
husband of 47 years, Hugh Cash. They raised three sons and remained devoted partners until
his passing in 2006. Anyone who knew Pat would tell you how much she loved her family and
would do anything in her power to help them. She is survived by her sons Hugh (Cheryl) and
John (Jen) and predeceased by her son Michael. The true joys of Pat's life were her 7
grandchildren (Hugh Jr., Joe (Aliscia), Bryan, Brad (Hannah), Brandon(Jenny), Mikenna, and
Ryan) and her 11 great-grandchildren (Bryan Jr., Isabella, Olivia, Brock, Elaina, Bradleigh,
Bentley, Brooklyn, Caleb, Madison, and Mason).
Her best friend and partner in crime for over 75 years, Barbara Wood, predeceased Pat and left
a void that was difficult to overcome. Together, they raised their families and enjoyed many
special times. Once their children started attending St. Paul's Catholic School, Pat and Barbara
developed a close group of friends known as the 'St. Jude's Circle' and these ladies always held
a special place in Patsy's heart. In addition to her friends and family, Pat enjoyed her work as a
Unit Clerk in the Emergency Room of Halifax Hospital for 38 years. Her time spent with those
colleagues was always looked upon fondly and brought her much happiness. Our hearts are
heavy, and she will truly be missed.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 at
11:00 am at the Basilica of St. Paul, 317 Mullally Street, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114. The
Graveside Service will follow at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona
Beach, Florida32114.
Condolences may be shared with the Cash Family at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
