Bruce "Pat" McAree passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 19, 2015.

She was born to Arthur T. and Mourette Moran September 14, 1923 in Greenville SC. The family relocated to Bath NY. Pat attended Haverling Central School, Bath NY 1937-1941. Following in her mother's footsteps, Pat received her Registered Nursing degree from Edward J Meyer Nursing School in Buffalo NY IN 1943. Pat met and married the love of her life Thomas T McAree July 28, 1951 at the VA Chapel in Bath NY. Together they raised 5 children. Pat worked as an RN at various hospitals and nursing homes throughout the next 40 years always putting her patients' care first.

Upon retirement to Palm Coast FL, Pat volunteered at St. Gerard House in St. Augustine and was in the Nurses Ministry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. A devout Catholic, wherever help was needed Pat was there always giving of her time and heart. Her kind, gentle giving nature was known to all.

Pat is predeceased by her loving husband Thomas, her brothers Arthur and Russell and her sister Mourette. Pat is survived by her sons Tom (Diane), Kevin (Angela), Brian (Jodi), Michael (Cindy) and her devoted daughter Mary (Victor), her grandchildren Shannon, Thomas, AnneMarie, Kevin, Sean, Aidan, and Ethan, one great grandson Jordan, her grand fur babies Maggie and Brewster, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast, FL on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015. Funeral Mass will begin 11am with an hour visitation preceding the mass at 10am. Memorial donations in Pat's memory may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School, 4600 Belle Terre parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164 or any hospice of your choice.
