Dr. Pablo Enrique Gonzalez passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021, just two months shy of his 90 ^th birthday.

Born in Bogota, Colombia on July 22, 1931, he earned his medical degree from the National University of Colombia, and then immigrated to America with his brother where they both completed Anesthesiology Residencies in Washington D.C.

Dr. Gonzalez served as an anesthesiologist at Doctors Memorial in Atlanta, Georgia where he lived for 30 years, and then at Doctors Hospital in Brownsville, Texas until he retired in 2005.

Dr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents, Ciro and Adelina Gonzalez-Gomez, his brother Dr. Ciro Gonzalez, and his sister Amelia Gonzalez-Sanchez. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Ann Ganley Gonzalez and his children Dr. Maria Adelina Gonzalez; Dr. Jose Martin Gonzalez and his wife Bethany; Maria Ruth Gonzalez and his golden grandchild Amanda Marie.

Dr. Gonzalez was fiercely passionate about his family, his faith, his career in service and he always had a generous heart for others.  He enjoyed traveling, experiencing new countries and cultures, as well as oil painting.

Dr. Gonzalez and his wife Linda would have celebrated their 58 ^th wedding anniversary in July.  Dr. Gonzalez will be missed by everyone his life has touched.

A memorial to celebrate Dr. Gonzalez's life will be held at a future date.
