Owen L. Ogle 84 a retired cost accountant with Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp. passed away at home in Ormond Beach Tuesday December 30 2003.
Mr. Ogle was born October 11 1919 in Tarentum Pennsylvania to James and Kate Owens Ogle. Owen served in World War II in the Pacific theater in the Navy with the Office of Naval Intelligence aboard Escort 183 participating in nine operations. In 1949 Owen graduated from the Washington and Jefferson Graduate University of Pittsburgh PA. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was former treasurer for Boy Scout Troop 468.
Mr. Ogle leaves behind a loving family including his wife of 55 years Eileen McFetridge Ogle; two sons William O. Ogle of Daytona Beach Florida and George E. Ogle of Bullhead City Arizona; a granddaughter Rebecca E. Ogle of Daytona Beach Florida; a brother James C. Ogle of Pennsylvania; and a sister Eleanor Radeackar of Missouri. A brother preceded Owen in death.
Memorial donations may be made in Owen''''s name to Hospice of Volusia Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32127.
