Oliver Hinchcliff
PONCE INLET ?Funeral services for Oliver Hinchcliff 86 of South Atlantic Avenue formerly of Palm Circle in Harbor Oaks will be Tuesday June 7 2005 at the chapel of Baggett and Summers Funeral Home calling hours will be one hour prior to the service. Mr. Hinchcliff died Thursday June 2 2005 at New Smyrna Beach Hospice House Assisted Living.

Mr. Hinchcliff a graduate of Ohio University came to this area in 1977 from his native Pittsburgh PA after his retirement from Crucile Steel as a successful salesperson. Prior to this he served in the U.S. Army during which time he was a personal aid to General MacArthur for two years during World War II.

Mr. Hinchcliff was preceded in death by his first wife Peggy Hinchcliff in 1986 and their daughter Judy Garaux in 2003 in addition to his second wife Phyllis Hinchcliff in 1998. Survivors include his sister Bettye Henck of Falls Church VA; three step-children Karen Thompson Tampa Melissa Riggs Adrian MI and Dianne Dombrowski New Smyrna Beach; grandchildren Doug Garaux Charolotte NC Diana Bratton Wedgefield SC; step-grandchildren Sheryl and Stephanie Dombrowski New Smyrna Beach and Kaleigh and Ashlin Riggs Adrian MI; and four great grandchildren.
