Olga Sechrist 87 of Port Orange Florida passed away peacefully on January 19 2013. She was preceded in death by Sterling Sechrist her husband of 53 years.Born on October 11 1925 in Hershey Pennsylvania Olga was the daughter of the late Guilio and Matilda Marcucci. She is survived by her sister Alba DeAngelis (Samuel); brother Peter Marcucci ; daughters Carol Ann Rogers and Susanne Wallace (Robert); 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Olga spent most of her adult life in the Sarasota/Bradenton area prior to retiring to Port Orange. She was a gentle and loving woman who was devoted to her two daughters and valued spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and V.FW Auxiliary . Olga loved to cook play bingo and travel with her church group. She will be dearly missed.Following her wishes there will be a private family viewing. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church on Friday January 25 8:30 AM. A grave site ceremony will follow at the Woodlands Cemetery.
