Olga Hilland, 89, of Deltona passed away on Monday, January 27, 2015. She was born on March 19, 1925 in Meling, Norway to Ole and Berta Meling. She experienced the German Occupation of her family farm during World War II. Olga was a Registered Nurse and moved to the United States in 1954 where she worked at Miami Children's Hospital for most of her career. She is survived by her daughter Ellen Miller; grandson Dennis Miller; granddaughter Lisa Miller; son John, & daughter-in-law Ellen Hilland; grandsons Christian, Ashley, & Aaron Thompson and great granddaughter Emily Thompson. She is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Leon Hilland. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in her name to www.halifaxhumanesociety.org.
