Norma O. Stoutenger, 88 of Ormond Beach, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Visitation for friends will be from 2 to 6 pm. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. A Funeral Service will be held in her honor at the funeral home Monday, April 29 at 6:00 pm.

Norma was born July 13, 1924 in Rochester, NY to Nelson James and Dora Kitts James. She married Frank E. Stoutenger on July 29, 1947 in LaPorte, PA. They lived and worked in Fulton, NY until 1980 when they retired to Florida. Norma was a volunteer for FHCP in Daytona Beach. She was employed at the Holly Hill facility as Auxiliary Coordinator in 1992 retiring in 2009 when she continued as a volunteer. She was a valued employee/volunteer for over 30 years. She was instrumental in starting the DBCC (now Daytona State College) scholarship fund in 2000. She was the "Heart and Soul" of the Florida Health Care Auxiliary and was loved by all who knew her.

Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years Frank by her family Pauline Reeners Perley and Ralph Stoutenger and Lois Miserintino. She is survived by several nieces and nephews grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her life is complete. She served the Lord everyday. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
