Norma Kay Smith was born December 15 1937 to the late Adelard Bishop and Lucy Bishop Sugden passed away October 15 2010 in her home in Ormond Beach FL at the age of 72. A memorial service will be held Thursday October 21 2010 at 7:00 PM from the chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until the time of service. Raised in North Attleboro MA she graduated from the North Attleboro High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to D. Russell "Russ" Smith Jr. her high school sweetheart May 21 1960 and spent 50 years together. She was a travel agent which afforded her and Russ the opportunity to travel and spend time together. She is survived by her husband D. Russell Smith Jr. a son Timothy Smith and wife Peggy of Milwaukee WI a daughter Stacy Whitcomb and husband Riley of Pewaukee WI one brother Ronald Bishop and wife Pat of North Attleboro MA one sister Carole Frazier and husband Ray of Ormond Beach FL her brother in law Robert Hayes of Ormond Beach FL and also her grand-dog Lou of Pewaukee WI. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Bishop and her sister Betty J. Hayes. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Halifax Health Hospice of VolusiaFlagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
