Funeral Services for Nita Hermatz 89 of Port Orange who passed away on August 16 2007 will be held at 6 p.m. Monday August 20 2007 at the Port Orange Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes with Chaplain Carol Hamilton officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will take place in Westland Michigan. Nita was born on June 3 1918 to the late Flournoy and Lizzie Clark in Colquitt County Georgia. Nita always enjoyed the "razz and tazz" of living. Of her most favorite things talking and bragging about her grandchildren and reciprocating the unconditional love from her dog Chopper were her top priorities. Nita leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Jeri Nehall; son Floyd Carter; sister Lucille Sours; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Guy Wesley Carter; two sisters and five brothers.
