Nila Pittillo-Cataruzolo of Ormond Beach, Florida died suddenly on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast, FL.

The family will gather together with friends on Tuesday, July 29, between the hours of 2-5 pm at Lohman Funeral Home,; 733 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 am Wednesday, July 30, at First United Methodist Church, 336 Halifax Dr. Ormond Beach.

Nila was born on November 23, 1947 in Texarkana, AR, to Shubert "Pat" and Marie (Giles) Pittillo, and was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated from L.S.U. and had a successful career as a corporate attorney for Dow Chemical. She was an amazing cook and specialized in Cajun cuisine. She was an avid golfer and has many close friends at Plantation Bay Country Club where she and her husband are members. Nila's warm personality will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Cataruzolo, his children; Wendy Kunich and Todd Cataruzolo, both of Atlanta, Georgia as well as her cousins, who she considered brothers; Wilbur Giles of Little Rock, AR, Jack Giles, of Poway, CA, and Robert Giles of Hot Springs, AR.
