Nicholas "Nick" Poceluiko, 92 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away Monday, January 27, 2014. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., March 15st at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S. Nova Rd. Ormond Beach.
Nick was born to the late Archip and Fedora (Kisley) Poceluiko in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He retired after serving as vice president for United Steel & Aluminum in Norwood, MA, and president of American Steel & Aluminum in Albany, NY. He was a parishioner at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, he received his Bachelor's from Columbia University, was a member of the VFW, BPOE, Loyal Order of Moose, the Oceanside Country Club, and was a member of Ormond Beach Police Civilian volunteer program after he graduated from the Ormond Beach Citizen Police Academy. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf, baseball and football.
Nick served his country in the Army/Air Corps during WWII, where he served overseas with the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force; he also graduated from the Military Intelligence School in Maryland.
He is survived by his nephew, Stephen Kisley, Lake Oswego, Oregon.
