Nicholas E. Montagna, 66, of Daytona Beach, passed away peacefully at his home on July 4th. Nick, born on April 15, 1952 in New Haven, Ct., is preceded in death by Mother Lucielle Angello, Father(s) Joseph Angello, Robert Montagna and brother Robert Montagna Jr. Nick is survived by sister Lorraine Hurlburt (William), his four children Destiny Montagna, Yvonne Crespo (Jose), Daisy Montagna and Nicholas Montagna Jr. Twelve grandchildren and three best friends, his dogs Poochie, Pup-Pup and Chici. Nick worked for Public Works CT before moving to Florida to run the infamous Shark Lounge for 25 years. He retired to live out his days remodeling his dream home, playing with his toy soldiers, enjoying his record collection and spending time with family and friends around the dinner table. Nick gave to everyone that crossed his path never denying anyone a place to stay, food to eat or a chance to hear one of his "You'll never believe this" stories. Services will be held at Lohman Funeral Home, Daytona Beach, Wed. 7/11/18 from 5-8pm.Nick will truly be missed.
